Recovery Education

At The Landing Recovery residents are required to be actively working a 12 step program with a sponsor. The Landing will provide additional guidance and accountability in the 12 step process from staff who have years of experience. Residents will develop a full understanding of the 12 step process in such a way that they will then be able to share it with others.

Individualized Guidance in Recovery and Life Skills

At The Landing Recovery, we look at each resident as a unique individual. We help each resident identify their personal barriers to recovery and formulate tailored support to help them overcome those barriers.

Owner/Director

I struggled with drug addiction at an early age which ultimately left me at a crossroads at the age of 21. I was either going to continue to spiral out of control, destroying my own life and dragging my family along with me, or make a drastic life change. Fortunately I chose to change. I now have eight years of sobriety. During those eight years I have worked with countless addicts and alcoholics, both as a part of my own 12 step program and in a clinical setting. I have also worked in human services with a diverse population including not just addicts, but children on the autism spectrum, and incarcerated youth.  Much of this work has included working intimately with families at some of their most vulnerable times. It is by combining my own experience in recovery and the knowledge I have gained from working in behavioral/mental health that I aim to provide comprehensive guidance to men on the path to recovery. A sober living home was a crucial part in my success and it is for that reason I have founded The Landing Recovery Home. I can now provide the same kind of structure and support that was so crucial to me in early sobriety, helping men improve their own lives and simultaneously, the lives of their families.
